heartbomb.org

heartbomb.org was made in early 2006 because I needed a place where I could write about what I wanted without the fear of somebody discovering it. This my home away from home. In a way, it is like my safehouse – I don’t have to worry about anybody judging me or using me here.

heartbomb.org was first, in late 2005, hosted by prolinkhosting.com. My God. They have to be the worst hosting company in the world. Not only did they shut me down after a month, with no email and no reply, but they kept on charging me for their hosting, even when my site was gone.

I then, upset and damaged, moved to surpasshosting.com, which has been my favorite host of all time. They are excellent. They really care about their hostees, and they are very professional. If anything is going on with their servers, they will let you know. You can not beat their prices for the space you receive. I have nothing but good to say about this company – once I mistakenly registered another domain twice, paid on a credit card, and only once I realized it I emailed their helpdesk, and one of the workers canceled my other payment within seeing it (they didn’t even have to wait for me to say to cancel it). They are not in it for your money, they’re in it for their hostees.

My domain name is registered at hostway.com, and I have ‘WhoIs Protector.’ Hostway is a great domain name registrar – they even give you the option of changing your domain name expiration date so that it won’t be different from your hosting expiration date.

This is my second domain, seconded only to fornever-more.net.

the meaning of the name

I really don’t know how I came up with this name – all I know is I picked it out of around 10 possible names that magically appeared in my mind
